The Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement (LCLE) is pleased to announce a new version of Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE). The Louisiana VINE service (formerly known as LAVNS) is a solution, developed by Appriss, that provides victims of crime with access to timely and reliable offender custody information.
As you may know, fewer than one in ten victims of serious violent crime in the U.S. receive assistance from a victim service agency. Additionally, there is currently no central website or mobile application that lists services for all types of crimes.
The new version of Louisiana VINE service (formerly known as LAVNS) launching this year will help bridge this gap. The Louisiana VINE Service Provider Directory will centralize agency information by offering a new, comprehensive directory of victim service providers in Louisiana. The new directory will greatly improve access to victim services for VINE users. It will be accessible by phone, mobile app, and internet.
By participating in the directory, your organization can connect with over 2 Million VINE users throughout Louisiana. There is no cost for your agency to be added to the directory.
Please review the service provider guidelines before submitting your agency’s information; then click the “Join Directory” link to complete the survey.
We hope you will choose to be a part of this important new resource for crime victims in our state.
